Cyprus Property Sales Top 2,000 Contracts in a Month for the First Time in 2026

District land registries in Cyprus recorded 2,040 sale contracts in July 2026, up 11% year on year and the first month in 2026 to cross the 2,000 mark.

Over the first seven months of the year, January through July, the island registered 12,047 contracts, up 14% from 10,561 in the same period of 2025. The growth has held steady across the year rather than showing up in one strong month.

Paphos continues to outpace the other districts. It logged 395 contracts in July, up 15% year on year, and 2,387 over the seven-month period, up 20% from 1,995. Nearly seven in ten Paphos contracts involved a foreign buyer, the highest share of any district on the island.
